DEC posted a chart in their regulations guide.  I'm sure it's the same but I follow that one (even keep a print out copy in my hunting backpack).  A DEC officer can't dispute what's on their own regulation guide.

I'm convinced the DEC somehow tells all game what their legal shooting times are. 

 

A guy I used to work with once told me when asked about shooting time: "If I can see it, I can shoot it!" Luckily for him he usually slept late and got cold early!"
