When are trapping classes normally scheduled?

I'd like to dabble in some trapping after seeing so many big dogs on my hunting grounds and really not having as much time as I'd like to hunt them.

Looks like hunting and bowhunting is online now but not trapping. When I looked for upcoming classes, none are scheduled within 200 miles. Is there a time of year these pop up?

About ten years ago I tracked down a class room trapping class, and it was very worthwhile. I learned ten times more than I would have just online/etc. If you can find one, it is worth it.

yeah that's what i was hoping for. Just to be around other like minded people is worth it. YouTube is a hell of a teacher as well. There is some good education out there. In particular I like the coon creek guy, but also having local area knowledge is good with regards to baits and such.
