Last night watching some soy bean fields before dark and had noticed that all the bucks but one in the field had shed off their velvet. This really gets the blood flowing and makes me realize that I am a bit behind schedule in preparation for this season. For me, this is the best time of the year!

tapped an 8-pointer yesterday with the bumper of my truck no damage to either but was suprised to see out of velvet all the bucks I have been seeing are still full velvet
