DirtTime
Um.....Did you mean "DOE" permits? Unlimited? Edited October 13, 2014 by CyanideRob
firehunter48
$$$ ???
DirtTime
$$$ ??? Careful....The "DOW" is still down, but the rest of us are still looking to "Down-A-Doe". So the price might be really high. Or really cheap. No stands? Hunt on the ground? No mention of blinds..Looks like a scam to me..But, that's just my VHO.
BizCT
I remember once reading that Nantucket has like 60 deer per sq mile and the something like 50% of all residents have Lyme disease Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why do you need a blind or stand to hunt? I've never used either in my life. Always hunt from the ground sitting or walking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not just "Here's a tree, sit by it, and you might get a deer.".

Guide
Just a typo guys, wow! Not a scam as I referred you to my website and have been in business over 20 years, now in my 3rd Indoor range location. Look me up David McCarthy Pembroke,Rockland,HIngham Mass. I also ran a rock climbing excursion in st thomas back in 08,09 lots of new yorkers came down for that one. Yes a recent flyover survey showing 40per sq mile and most folks have or know someone who has lyme disease including my dad who still bow hunts here with us at 82. We dont use stands cause theres not much for trees, plus its a pain when you fly with extra gear to bring.Cost is $895 for the 6 day trip min/ max is 4. 2 guests one room (2 twins) , 2 guests in the other room with 4 bunks. I'ts a 3 bedroom house in a great area called madeket anyone familiar with Nantucket knows this area. Ive been hunting here me and dad since I was 23. I am know 48. I can take you where the deer are (bucks) and not many other bow hunters its a great time Alot of land is posted! if you dont know someone with private land you must use the land bank properties. Thats where we can help. No guarantee for a kill thats on you! We move around all day and brush a bit, coffee mid morning and lunch at the local sub shop. You need money for that but I take care of breakfast and dinner at the house. This is not a party either so only serious Bow hunters need respond. The doe permits have never sold out for zone 14 and the limit is now 4 deer per day (up from 2). Doe permits are $5 and we check deer online. Sound good? Amenities? yes flights from Hyannis both ways small engine aircraft on cape air. New rented jeeps or suvs with a driver. Hot breakfast, hot dinner included, but lunch and coffee on the fly(you pay) depends whats happening. House has a deck in the sun grill, tv cable internet great space hot shower lots of room. In the bush you pick out your own spots, trim a few twigs if needed and take a seat for the morning and afternoon post. We show you which way deer are traveling and recommend a position but this is not tv bow hunting. We figure you have a little concept of Bow Hunting to even consider this trip. First timers are welcome thats what a guide is for! Just plan on full days and make sure your bow is sighted in gear is ready and we go out rain or shine. If you want easy guaranteed kills go hunt on a farm.
