Roe Deer

One of the things I find interesting is the game and techniques hunters in other parts of the world use. Youtube provides a view into hunting for just about every game animal on the planet. I got some education watching videos of Deer hunting in Europe, they like to call it stalking and they have a small size Deer over there called a Roe Deer that bark when alarmed. They have an interesting technique for hunting those little guys, "calling" and it is much the same as the way we use varmint calls for predators. They will set up a stand on the edges fields that border forests and call, some of those Bucks come on the run like a Coyote to a dying rabbit call. Looks like a lot of fun and the kind of hunting being a varmint hunter, I would enjoy. They also have a nifty set of antlers, the racks are not big but they look nice.
