I was a butcher back in the 90's . I cut a lot of deer and hand skinned everyone. I tried the trick with the golf ball and my quad winch tonight. I have to say Wow that was amazing. Has anyone ever skinned a deer that redneck way? The only problem is if you were going to mount the head it won't work.

I read about that one and hunt state land skirting a golf course.

When I got my deer I used the air compressor, made it a lot easier but having field dressed it will try golfball next.

I have seen the air compressor one but never tried that.

Learned trick hard way 1/2 way through. Pull on skin and make a big bubble, then push the bubble around (less escapes through the open belly once field dressed)

Please elaborate on this golf ball method. It just might be par for the coarse.

On youtube they all do it hanging by the head. They skin down the neck to the shoulders then put a golf ball under the hide and put a rope with a slipknot around the ball. Than pull with truck or quad. Comes off like a glove. I did it from the legs down and I only had to sin 4 inches of the neck.
