10/22 auto bolt lock ?

 Does anyone know if you put an auto bolt lock on the Ruger 10/22  will the bolt stay open on it's own after the magazine is empty?  Thanks!

It can be done, but it involves installing an aftermarket trigger assembly that is even worse than the factory trigger IMO.

FWIW dry-firing the 10/22 won't hurt it at all if that's what you're worried about.

No problem. Enjoy the ten-tweaky-two, just be careful around the after-market parts catalogs, they'll drain your wallet in a hurry. The only Ruger part on mine is the receiver.
