mkrafty133
Has anybody seen a big increase in deer movement the past couple days. Which is strange for the last couple days of guns season. I was out yeaterday saw 12 of them in the morning and another 8 at night. Waited to see if a buck would pop out but eneded up taken a doe at last light. Santamour123
That would be hard for me to answer. Because if I saw 1 that would be a huge increase in movement. Havn't seen a deer in 3 weeks.
blackradio
They're staying put in the thicket and mountain laurel here. Only come out if you push them or at night.
the blur
I saw 2 doe today deep in the woods, and I blew the oppurtunity. >
DanceswithSkunks
Pre storm movement. Storms coming and they will fill themselves with food then go ride out the storm in sheltered cover.
cprsailor
It's been a feast or famine season in 9H. I filled my tags early this season, but I have spent a little time walking my property over the last three weeks. For the last two weekends, it was like every deer I had seen just disappeared. Nothing. Not a track to found. I could totally sympathize with those who have had similar experiences. Yesterday, there were highways all around. I saw at least 10 doe, 1 small buck and 1 nice high 9 pointer that seemed to still be in the rut as he walked with his nose to the ground trailing the does. He walked within 30 yards of me as I stood against a large Oak tree. He never made me. I'm hoping he hangs around for ML. If not, I'll be looking for him next fall!
