Found something interesting

Something banged into my office window in downtown brooklyn. I went outside to see what it was and saw a woodcock sitting there on the floor. I walked over to it and it flew off but it seemed disoriented. Next day I found the little guy dead across the street. Crazy to see a woodcock in brooklyn. I barely see them up at camp.

The timing is about right for the early birds returning to their singing grounds.  Unfortunately there's an awful lot of snow left. 

 

In any case, a cool find.  Keep that little fella and roast him.
