growalot
tucked in to a lrg. maple down fall about 100 yrds up hill from this pic...lets hope they walk that area...I know deer do...always wanted a blind there so checking it out before building one.... Several Jakes but no long beards....Area is wet so I think new clover leafs and worms are what they are eating..also little blk slugs there....
growalot
May have put it up in the wrong spot... Mr B.yells look at the size of that turkey quick!!! There walking down the drive was a Tom ..beard dragging on the ground...I slowly opened the door to get a picture...cat meowed and he ran for the hedge row...no picture but he obviously is roosting near the house and by himself... caught one Bird on cam nearby but just its back...early evening..so roosting near house. growalot
Got pics and lots of deer...one squirrel not one single bird...lol Well I know it's a major deer travel area and they walked past the blind, 15ft like it's always been there. Lots of young buttons made it through the winter.
growalot
Well just one turkey near the new blind...and it's just the type of turkey I'd like to see.....I have to check my other locations and hope they stick around for the next 10 days...he's not the Tom from the driveway by any means, but he'd do in a pinch You can just see the corner or the blind across from him above the word covert. I made it through last nights storm and the chair stayed dry...
