Rabbit hunting

The dogs are just waiting to get out there.  i know I could run them any time though but i don't trust all those super sportsmen out there, so I wait untill deer season is over.  These guy Elmer Fudd and Yukon cornelious are just chomping at the bit to get out can't you tell.

Biggamefish, i am with you on that, as many many deer hunters hate beagles, so would waite few more days, or head way up north, I hunt hare up north with my dogs and rabbit on long island. Good luck to you when you go out, where do you usually run?

  I live in the capital district so I run alot of cottentails just around the area.  I tried one of my dogs on snowshoes last year and he seemed to get it right at the end of the hunt.  I think I might try both of them this year we will see.  I think a christmas eve run might be in the works.  Good luck this year.
