Last Plot is in!

Managed to get my last food plot in this morning.  It is a small 1/4 acre plot.  Last year I planted PTT, over seeded with clover and Whitetail Institute Secret Plot.  It did well but I wanted to put in a perennial.  So this year I planted Whitetail Institute Imperial edge with some PTT thrown in the mix as well.  I wanted to get it in this morning before the forecasted rain rolled through, but the rain never came...haha.  It is supposed to rain tomorrow so hopefully it will and it can help get the germination started.  This is my first time using this so I will see how it does.

Looks good, hope frost holds off a bit into Oct for you, it's a little late for ptt, at least in my area, August 1 is as late as I can do here, but winter wheat or rye is still plantable

I didn't spread a lot of PTT seeds.  About 1lb or so.  Just wanted to throw it into the mix.  Last year it took about 40 days for the PTT.

That's good I'll have good chance of frost here in mid sept.only give 30 days or so, get cold on top of the hill fast..
