Went out yesterday with my 8 year old son for a bit over an hour. We got one and missed two. Shooting em this year with my Gamo pellt gun. I just parboil the back and legs like someone said above and pan fry or make a rabbit pie. mmm The place I hunt them is loaded with butternuts and man they are big and tasty!

As a kid I started on rabbits but man that can be hard these days. I never did squirell until later. But I have places loaded with squirrels so it is a great option for the kids because as we know they need action and not get bored. My son and daughter both like to go.
