WMUs in Google Earth

From DEC, a kmz file of WMU boundaries. It could be useful.

 

To help hunters and trappers identify their WMU, we recently created a Google Earth map (kmz file) with WMU boundaries.  See www.dec.ny.gov/pubs/42978.html; the WMU map is last in the list of Recreational Maps.  With this tool, hunters and trappers can zoom in to their preferred location and with the click of a button, identify the WMU.

You gotta love these people. The unit boundaries are there but they units aren't labeled.

Click on the unit and it'll pop up with the unit. Some units are more difficult to click on due to size.
