3 Bucks and a Doe

This afternoon I watched 3 young bucks following a doe around while she kept trying to put distance between herself and them. The bucks were all wary of each other but kept a bit of distance between each other. The biggest rack was a 4 point with a nice curl. He got to stay closest to the uncooperative doe. I watched them on and off for about 20 minutes.

Brother watched a little 4 point bed down across the street yesterday in cut corn. Big doe came by and pounced his rear quarters as he lay with both front hoofs. We're blaming PMS

 

It sounds like the curled 4 point has established pecking order already. Neat stuff
