Woodcock hunting

Got out today for a few hours with the springer spaniel. Managed to shoot 3 woodcock & 2 wood pigeons. The springer is currently lying on the sofa snoring beside me after a hard day. I had the head cam on, so hopefully got some good footage.

It is a beretta al391 tekny, the stock is the wood xtra stock. It's a lovely semi auto shotgun & I always grab it over the over & under I have.

Hey this reminds me when I was tracking my deer I busted out about 4 Woodcocks, it was nice to see.

I am from Ireland, so these are European woodcock, a little larger than the American ones.

You are correct mate, no point having it sitting in the cabinet collecting dust.

It's actually a laminate over the stock, so the wood doesn't actually look like that, but it's pretty!!!
