Good point, however any attempt at any sort of gun control will be met with resistance by those here who get their panties in an uproar over any attempt to reduce the violence brought about by guns in America. To them public safety takes a backseat to their desires to arm themselves against imaginary threats that only exist within their NRA influenced minds.

 

Attempts to control crime do not control crime.  When you ask responsible citizens to surrender rights, especially the right of self defense, without proposing any actual crime prevention, you should expect well deserved push back.  And that push back comes from any logical thinking people who do not see it as a good bargain.

 

This is the real reason we keep seeing more and more idiotic demands placed on responsible gun owners.
