Jaeger
Well, I had to cancel my reservation at Cabin Creek Muzzleloading for this years one week May muzzleloading building workshop due to transportation issue. If any of you are interested, they may still have the opening. Brad and Shane are great guys and it is very informative. It is a workshop, not a clinic. You work on your own gun with their guidance. I had started a 24 gauge Flintlock Fowler. Really hurts that I can't get it moved along.
Lawdwaz
That's too bad..........can you finish it without their help?
Jaeger
I'm asking them if they can finish drilling and tapping the lock screw holes and drill the touch hole in line with the lock, after that I'm going to see if they'd help me finish the drawing of the barrel. Then, it'll be on to inletting the but plate and finishing the rust browning on the barrel and shaping, sanding and finishing the stock. I've obviously got a long way to go. People do not realize how much time goes into these guns when everything is done strictly by hand.
