Not a matter of right, just dif experiences for dif people sometimes. Only trying to dispel imo some old myths that don't always hold complete water for some of the newer folks. They need to keep an open mind to grow as hunters if they so wish

I have never paid much attention to rubs early in the season because I don't cover country like I do when "if" we get snow but I can tell you I have never tracked a buck that I wanted to kill that rubbed a sapling. I'm sure there are small bucks that rub big trees and big bucks that rub small ones just haven't really saw it my self. Other than the home farm I hunt big woods where deer act "normal" all season because of limited pressure.
