Had my first sign of the rut had a beautiful 8 point follow in a doe this morning unfortunately couldn't get a shot, but he had his nose down following her pretty close, maybe it's finally started

Not sure how close you are to brantingham but I know some guys up there. They've been seeing a few.

And old rub has been reopened in the last 2 days. And a new rub has opened on another trail....

Community scrape has been hit as well...

Still no sightings

Hopefully things are starting to turn around. Only time will tell. Hoping to get out Monday night.

I'm a ways from brantingham close to the worth, Barnes corners area, been seeing more scrapes but today was the first buck I saw in hot pursuit and he was a beauty. Between my boy and me we seen 13 deer today they were moving big time.

I know the roads in that area pretty well, we ride wheelers up there a lot. Hopefully you can connect on a nice buck, its still early.

Red squirrels are aggressive. Little punk just ran off a fat grey a hundred yards from here. Then he came back, climbed a tree a stared at me. I swear I felt his hate...

I'm all thumbs when using Tapatalk

The best is when they climb up higher then you in the tree your stand is in and attempt to drop pine cones and other various squirrel related things on you.
