turkeyfeathers
So from blind or stand is a good mile to car. Thru blow downs , beaver swamp , bunny brush and small creek. I constructed this drag out of a thick piece of canvas that used to be part of a golf dome. Added 3 grommets on either side and two towards front. I cinched deer into wrap and then ran a split tow rope thru front two grommets to deers head. Standard shoulder , chest harness and away I went. I couldn't believe how easy it made it. Don't think I ever hunched over , swore or had feet go out from under me. Heck I didn't stop more than a few seconds to enjoy the surroundings Glad I did this and suggest you guys think about making one to make your drag easier too.
mlammerhirt
We used a deer cart on my Archery Buck that we got for my dad years ago when he adventured out by himself, and decided to drop one....with no help in sight. Thing worked like a charm. Did.ypu haul it to the blind with you guys this morning...or did you hike back to the vehicle to retrieve?Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
turkeyfeathers
Rolled it up tight and tied it closed and made a rope sling. Already carrying 30 pound backpack, 2 turkey strut chairs , slug gun, my jacket and hers tied to backpack. What's one more item. But daughter was warm , fed and had coffee lol. I felt like a pack mule.
Taylormike
Pretty ingenious I must say. However, we use a two wheel dolly aka, buck buddy, works like a charm.
