So I have a spot that I bow hunt but won't fire a gun there although it is legal .. I'm going to there and hunt with my crossbow so if I'm able to harvest a deer when I fill out my tag what box do I check for weapon used ??? Seeing there isn't a box for crossbow ..

It would be my regular season tag if it were a buck and a DMP for a doe, I guess I may have phrased this wrong as I was thinking when you call in to report your harvest is there a category for crossbow as weapon used ?

They are going to need the info from the tag. try it online.

Ok,,, so I just called to report my deer kill, so if you were to use your crossbow during regular season and harvest a deer, there is no category to choose for that weapon used..

Only choices are rifle shot gun / bow / muzzleloader ???

So seeing you need muzzleloader license to crossbow hunt I would guess,, choose muzzleloader as weapon ?? You would think the state would figure this stuff out ..

I'm just curious but I can't be the only idiot to think of this ..

:)
