Dinsdale
Bought the McKenzie's Caribou skull for a set of antlers and they hung outside over my shop door for years and years with no problem. Also have put deer sheds on a real donor skull using epoxy and some threaded rod with success. http://www.mckenziesp.com/North-American-Skulls-with-Pedicles-C5949.aspx Edited January 24, 2017 by Dinsdale

As vcollaco said above, it is easy and yes you will need the XL for those sheds you have. Once you have them tapped with the screws, it is easy to move them in and out to achieve the "spread" length. If you get the small skull, it will make the rack look even bigger
