Careful Buzz...your putting yourself in line to be dubbed  Chicken little and the sky is falling  by some on here with that...LOL

That is nearly exactly what I saw as a kid in ..I think Nebraska or Kansas. We were at a KOA camp ground driving cross country to California...I'd have to get out old pics to remember which state We hit a lot of campgrounds on that trip. Crazy how big the fire ball was...

I am always surprised how given the chance and enough time spent campfireside the night sky can and will amaze you. The huge volume of security cameras has thankfully no only shown people up to no good but captures these truly special moments of the night sky.

The sky isn't falling that was a hunk of cheese broke off the moon...
