sailinghudson25
Looking to get a moose on camera. Any tips? I'm on an 850 acre lease from the timber company. Mixed hardwoods with some spruce. 3 ponds 2 streams. Been recently logged 2 years ago. There's tracks in the logging trails. Focus on main corridors, or entry to beaver ponds? grampy
Wherever you're seeing tracks would be a good start.
stoneam2006
Other than what grampy said I'd just hope for a little bit of luck. I have hunterd the adks for a number of years now in a spot where moose have been seen and have never come across one. It's my biggest goal up there to see one of them in their element just watching and listening to them move thru the woods. I wish you luck and please share pics if you get one on cam. Buckmaster7600
We usually get more moose pics than deer on trail cams at our camp. They love 5-10yr old cuts and a beaver dam across a Vly are great places to start.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
sailinghudson25
What do they like about the beaver dam area. I thought they love certain aquatic plants in swampy areas.

sailinghudson25
Well, it's been a few days........ Here she is with her kin......... I also attached a few more pics... Pipsqueak the bear, and Eliot the atypical no-typical to post in a younger buck. Turkey seem to be more common each year. Worth the trip in May now.......
Cedar+Canvas
Nice snaps. 2nd on marshy vly areas. We don’t get a lot of sign in my area of 5H but when we do that’s where I️ see it. Got a young bull on cam in Sept in a vly. I️ used to see many moose guiding up in Canada usually in deep, slow, creek areas where they’d wallow and eat lily pads. I was heard there was sodium in the slimy stuff under the pads.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
