DMP in PP REQ areas...

I was scrolling through the NY DEC pages today seeing if anything has been updated for 2017-2018 and I came across the DMP availability page for 2016.  While I know this isn't new, as its for last season... I was surprised to see that unit 6K is listed as needing PP.  As far as I know I didn't have any PP last year but I got a DMP for 6K and 7F on my first round, and then two more in 7F in November.  Just curious if that page is 100% accurate or more of a guideline?

I grew up hunting 6K and my family still hunts there, I'm pretty sure you've needed preference points for at least a few years now? I'll admit I don't look at it much anymore because I don't put in for permits there anymore. 7F hands out tags like candy, I've never been denied a 7F tag. Is it possible you had points and didn't realize it?

If the DEC would spend some of their millions in their budget to get an IT guy to actually update their website, and their Ranger APP if would be a miracle

I had 3pp last year and got denied 9x luckily will get one this year almost guaranteed seems every 4 years

I don't believe so. Two years I've only got DMPs for 7f and 7m. Last year was the first time I've got one for NZ
