Anyone one hunting Darien state park or the Alabama swamps today ?

I used to hunt Darien lake state park. Every year a nice one would get taken on neighboring private land. It was good. Some spots so thick you have to crawl yo get through. Deer race right through it though. Had a handful of go to spots. Rode bikes in to get in faster in a hurry. One spot I'd park on private property access it right. Trail heads would have me blowing deer and walking forever. Don't live in western ny anymore though.

I have friends out in WNY. They dont hunt or fish. They are awesome people, but are totally missing out on the world class hunting and fishing available to them. I dream of the monsters of letchworth, and Allegheny parks. I didnt know you could hunt Darien. Thats cool. Good luck out there from a dooowwwn stater!

It's been a decade since I've been but the biggest I knew of was a 160 class buck got taken just outside the park.
