A friend of mine has a Sears Ted Williams firearm and asked me if I could find out who actually manufactured the gun as he needed a part to get it fixed, some research turned up this site that cross references many of those defunct store brands to the companies that manufactured them. This will help out those who may want to know who actually made Grandpa's old JC Higgins 22 rifle or Dad's old Western Field shotgun.
