I sold my 17Hmr because it was a pain to clean....not sure if that helps....I own 2  22 mags and love them...hope that helps

Couple reasons. Plinking with family and friends, it's a sweet semi auto design, and the Dec finally clarified the laws for coyote hunting in non rifle areas. During any deer season you can only use rimfire if a non rifle area. The verbage used to be very vauge and you could basically read it either way. I want to be able to yote hunt around home during deer season ! It's a cool little rig and has some good range reviews for accuracy. And last reason is, I just want one! lol.
