Deer “shark tooth”

I faintly remember some shark tooth looking bone found in the hooves of whitetails - anyone know anything about this? If it actually exists, anyone know how to find it and how to remove it?

Damn- haven’t seen Wooly in here lately...this is right up his ally- you know HE knows!!!
