? for Erie County permit holders

   I just got the Ok to upgrade to an Unrestricted permit from a target/hunting permit.  My question is does any one know if I want to mail it in to get the new status put on do I need to send in my old permit with my payment of $5.00 & the letter they sent me to do so? Any one ever do it by mail?  Any ideas?   I went in person yesterday & there was at least 2hr. waiting line they said,  so I left & it still cost me $5.00 for 5 mins. of parking anyway,   geeze!  lol

I upgraded mine by sitting in line downtown Too bad the Cheektowaga branch that was open on Wednesdays only already closed. That didn't last long. I say get downtown early some morning and do it in person

  I was there yesterday by 9:30, guess I'll have to get there earlier.

There was just something on the news that they are doing things by appointment now downtown until they can get the all pistol permit holders registered that haven't filed yet.......they estimate over 50,000 not registered yet in Erie county.
