Yearly fishing derby memorial

So my cousin was killed in afganastan last month. Every time he would come back stateside me and him would go fishing, we loved it, it was kind of our thing. I want to do an annual fishing derby in his honor, but i dont really know where to start. Any ideas? comments?

I've done fishing derby's for over 10 years.  First thing you need to do is line up your insurance.  You don't want a stranger drowning or getting injured and then they sue your pants off.  Contact your insurance agency and ask how much it would cost for a 1 day rider.  If its affordable shoot me a PM and I will help you further.
