A new dog

I have a new dog that I started pheasant hunting this year and it's been great, hes 2 years old and this is his first real season. That being said I'm looking for any tips or anyone that wants to hunt in the cny area, just trying to get him on as many birds as possible even if I dont shoot them. Hes a brittany for what worth.

Congrats! Check for a local North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA). They were quite helpful when raising my Brittany 13-14 years ago. My old dog has since retired living the life on the couch!!

They release pheasants over at Verona beach state park.  Off of poppleton Rd there is a few people that hunt them there.
