My cousin lives out on the island and owns a landscaping business, he told me he was taking a piss in some woodlot, looked down and found a scull and huge horns of a non typical. He sent me pics and it was unreal. Probably died of old age. Like you i travel 4 hrs. To hunt, but could be over the verrazano in 15 minutes and see some tremendous bucks.
