October is usually my favorite month to hunt but this year has been the worst.  Here it has rained 17 days out of the month with 8 days out of the month being very windy with some rain. I have only managed 12 sits for a total  of 22 hrs. No shot opportunities except on a couple of small ones.

I have seen 49 deer with only two bucks identified and they weren't until 10/30

Hopefully Nov. will be better. I would really like to wrap this up before gun season so I can trophy hunt at my leisure.

Congratulations to those that have scored during this difficult time.

Turkeyfeathers sure picked a poor year to start bowhunting.
