Join Us for I Love My Park Day on Saturday, May 4!

Have a favorite hiking or camping spot? If so, why not volunteer to help make it better this Saturday, May 4th for I Love My Park Day! I Love My Park Day is an annual event that brings together thousands of volunteers to celebrate and enhance New York's parks, historic sites, and public lands. There are 30 state forests, wildlife management areas and campgrounds across the state where DEC is celebrating public lands this weekend. Volunteers will be: cleaning up beaches planting trees restoring trails and wildlife habitats removing invasive species and so much more! DEC is hosting events at a variety of locations - from trails in the Forest Preserve to popular campgrounds and environmental education centers. There is a project for all ages to participate in.
