From what I heard, yesterday's "Cuts for a cause" raised approx $2K. There will be another one next weekend as well as a wine tasting fundraiser event and raffles for some great gifts (in-home private chef cooked dinner, gift cards, etc.)

The gofundme has cracked $10K already.

Just an update for those who donated and may be interested. On Friday, she had surgery. They were able to remove 99% of the mass. They were able to re attach everything, so for now she will avoid the colostomy bag. After a 2-night stay in the hospital, she was able to go home yesterday. Now they wait for the pathology report to come back before determining next steps.
