New Bow Performance Specs

Last night I headed out to the range to get my bow sighted in and get some practice in. The guy at the shop happened to have his chronograph out for another customer, so we ran my bow through it. Here is what I came up with for how my bow performs in hunting configuration.

2010 Hoyt Maxxis 35

Draw Length: 29"

Draw Weight: 63 lb

Arrow Length: 27"

Arrow Weight: 350 grains (with 100 grain broadhead/field point)

Bow Speed: 293 fps (through chrono)

KE: 66.75 ft/lb

I am really happy with these numbers and the way this bow shoots. I have come to the conclusion that I will never cheap out and buy a mid or lower end bow again. Id rather buy a top end bow thats a year or two old. This is the smoothest, fastest, best shooting bow I have ever owned. Ive got it pretty much dialed in all the way out to 60 yards. I need some practice, as Im a little rusty, but I was still shooting some respectable groups.
