Anyone use SPOT GPS ?

Has anyone used the SPOT personal locator by itself or with the Delorme GPS? They have a deal going on right now for only $100. Just wanted to get some opinions.

We set up some stands in Vermont this weekend. Pretty big woods we were in and my friend had the Delorme gps. It works great. Don't know what model.

I have a Delorme too, best GPS out there. But the newest one has a satellite connection with SPOT. That's the one I'm curious about.
