2020 College Scholarship Application

Warren, Washington, Saratoga and Rensselaer.

 

Attention High School Seniors / Guidance Counselors:

 

The Upper Hudson River Valley Branch of the Quality Deer Management Association is pleased to announce our annual College Scholarship program. Up to two $500. Scholarships will be awarded at our annual QDMA Banquet in March. The winners will be selected by a Committee made up of our Board Members and based on your written essay concerning QDMA. The preferred applicant will be familiar with the ideals of quality deer management and will be pursuing a degree in a field of study that would contribute to the enhancement of the goals of the organization. To be eligible for the scholarship, qualified applicants will possess the following:

 

• A basic knowledge of quality deer management and the QDMA group

• Acceptance to a degree granting institution

• Preference will be given to students studying the Environmental or Agricultural Sciences. (All majors are encouraged to apply if they are able to present how their chosen field will positively impact Quality Deer Management.)
