More New York State Gun Control Proposals

These laws if enacted would require a purchaser of any firearm, rifle or shotgun to submit to a mental health evaluation.  Who is going to pay for these “mental health evaluations” and what if the doctor is anti-gun would you have knowledge of that fact?

So in the meantime we have politicians who support setting violent criminals free, do not support the death penalty for capital crimes, are soft on those involved with illegal drugs and have no real solution to institutionalize those who are violently mentally ill.

Although some would say these laws if enacted would keep the violently mentally ill from acquiring firearms, it does not stop them from purchasing motor vehicles, machetes, knives, baseball bats and hammers (https://westernfreepress.com/william-spengler-killed-his-grandmother-with-a-hammer/ Spengler was set free while Governor Andrew Cuomo was in office) all that can be used as weapons to commit murder.

Contact your Senator and Assembly person to voice your opinion on these proposed laws.

I was just at my county's 2A sanctuary meeting last night. Our sheriff is on board and actually spoke at the meeting. Not sure about the DA yet.
