Friend of a buddy shot this deer i believe opening weekend in Alabama NY. I know we have some west siders that hunt out that way so was wondering if anyone knew or had heard about this beast. Hope i didn't get suckered into spreading a deer hoaks but i don't think so. If true, its another example of the great deer that have come out of that region in recent yrs.

Oh shoot. I thought it had to have been posted already but i couldn't find it anywhere. Sorry for the duplication. Just like my hunting, i seem to be one step behind when it comes to the giants..

Phade, Not sure what part of livingston county you hunt but i did get to see a 150" plus 8 point today. Was shot last night in northern part of the county. Have not got permision to post pics yet but if i do, i will. He's about as big an 8 as i've seen in these parts.

I'm in northern Livingston. Plenty of big deer in the area...access is key and understandably hard to come by. A 150" 8 is pretty rare anywhere, let alone NY.

Saw the first shooter of the year while on stand yesterday, but that was in Monroe County...practically on the border with Livingston.

Yea, I've measured a 23 7/8 wide buck and this one i think is over 25". Think he should name him the chisel plow buck with that dropper..
