rachunter
I was brushing up on the rules for crow hunting. When I noticed they allow the use of a RIFLE to me that sounds nuts. I’m sure its meant for hunting them in fields like woodchucks, but some people might take that as “I can shoot them out of trees or the air”. They could’ve been a little more specific about the rules. airedale
At one time it was common to hunt crows with rifles, I have probably shot as many Crows with a rifle as with a shotgun. Back before Coyotes when Woodchuck populations were in large numbers living open agricultural areas Crows would be in the big open fields along with Woodchucks and I would take both with long range varmint rifles. I liked hunting them as much as Woodchucks, some of the best long range shots I ever made were on Crows.
