First of all , I would not use someone’s stand that I didn’t know . But , even if I did , if someone showed up and said it was theirs AND I KNEW DAMN WELL IT WADNT MINE , I’d leave , no questions asked

I believe the OP is hunting relatively small private spots. Here, I think common courtesy should be not to use someone else's stand when 2 or more hunters have permission. If the idea is to keep spots hidden, even climbers leave telltale signs, especially on pine or soft bark trees. But climber sign is less obvious than a hang on or ladder stand, and may go unnoticed.
