Curios on the SOCOM. what grain and what type rounds were you using. I plan on using one for deer this coming season for a few hunts. I was using you know that's a damn good question. Standby. I was looking at using a soft point rather than a hollow point. I think that may take some of the "explosiveness" out of it and mushroom instead. I know lots of people use them for hunting with great success.
