One of my co-workers here at The Post-Standard recently shared a page from her 365 Amazing Trivia Facts calendar.

The item, for Monday, Feb. 27, read: “What did early editions of the bestselling cookbook, ‘The Joy of Cooking’ recommend that you feed an opossum before killing and cooking it?

Answer: “Milk and cereal for 10 days.”

Not sure what that's going to do, but I’ll keep that in mind.
