The last 3 times I drove a tractor back to work on my foodplot, I have seen a deer.  The two before today looked like a 2 year old buck in velvet.  He was kind of skittish, and didn't let me get close enough for a good camera shot.

This big doe let me get to within 15 yards of her today.  I am guessing that she has a fawn or two bedded in the high grass.  I am definitely going to wait until after mid-July before I mow those fields.
