Are thorn apple trees poisonous?

Someone told me that thorn apple tree thorns are poisonous. I've been stuck a bunch of times. I'm still alive.

Stepped on one with a Converse sneeker back in the day,went all the way through my foot ,both sides ugly. Step-mother pulled it oit with plyers. I did ok.

I've had LOTS of them broken off in me. Two memorable ownes were the one that went about 3/8" into my bean from a branch I cut off and then the one that went DEEP into my foot as I was checking trail cams with my Crocks on.............

I'm healthy as a horse, they ain't poison.

I expect the only concern would be infection or losing an eye.

Drove one into my skull years ago. Still here though my wife thinks I have Asperger's. Maybe that's what caused it.
