Has anyone been successful at Rocky point long island this year?

So I've been hunting Rocky point this year, and after many sits have yet to see a single deer. According to people at the check station, not many deer have been brought in this year. So, have anyone one been successful there? If so, can anyone point me in the right direction so I can at least see a deer :)? If not, is there anywhere else people are getting successes close to NYC?

Get out there and scout after the January firearms season. Rocky point is one of the bigger DEC land. There are deer there, gotta know where to look. Good luck

Try Otis Pike or some of the smaller parcels as well. I will PM you a couple spot numbers in Otis Pike that are good, but because they are good most times they are already taken....surprise, surprise, right?

If it were October (or even pre-season) I would meet & show you to a couple spots that I've had success in, but I rarely hunt NYSDEC managed land this late in the season.
