Yotes during daylight

I am guessing since it's mating season its not unusual to get alot of daylight pics of dogs. Soooooo I was gonna take a walk this afternoon with my boys and bring along a rifle and fox pro.

 

Any suggestions on calls for early March.....was gonna start with a female howl and go from there.

1 howl and watch your wind. They are still fairly nocturnal imo. But it's always possible. Last 2 hours of light cab be more productive and be as quiet as possible when setting up.

I listen to this dog almost every night. She lets out one howl then waits about ten-fifteen minutes then let’s out another one it continues for about a half hour then she’s gone.


These are from the same spot but on different nights.

She’s watching me hook up a trailer. It’s 1:30 in the afternoon.

No luck having any commit this afternoon.....around 5 we had two sound off a good deal away. We waited silent for a while but nothing. My boys were pumped to hear the pair sound off together.
